The Technical Committee will be responsible for the technical organization of the tournament. The decision of the Committee in all matters regarding the tournament shall be final.
The Tournament Director will chair the Jury of Appeals comprising of a member of the Organizing Committee, the Technical Delegate and the Referee.

Participation is open to all players in good standing with the Organizing Committee and PBA. Foreigners may join the tournament but will not receive PNRS points. For doubles, the foreigner should partner with a Filipino but their pair will not receive PNRS points. A player may join a maximum of three (3) events, however, said player should be aware that his/her matches may be successive and he/she will be given only thirty (30) minutes resting time.
Entries must be submitted no later than November 27 midnight.
All entries must be submitted online, players are advised to log on to www.smartnationalopen.com.
An email will be sent to you upon registration regarding the payment details.
There is only a limited no. of entries available. It is therefore strongly suggested that Entry Fees must be paid immediately upon receipt of confirmation email at the designated bank account no. specified on the email notification. A copy of the deposit slip should be forwarded to firstname.lastname@example.org for confirmation of entry.
The General Competition Regulations of BWF shall be applicable to the tournament.
This competition shall strictly comply with BWF’s Laws and General Competitions Regulations specifically Part III, Section 1A Appendix 4 – Ruling on Players’ Code of Conduct and Appendix 9 – Code of Conduct for Coaches, Team and Technical Officials.

Entry fees may be deposited to a designated Bank Account indicated on the Notification Email, which the participant will receive. Scanned copy of the deposit slip should be emailed to email@example.com. The player must bring original copy of the deposit slip and present to Tournament Secretariat upon check-in.
Please note that your entry will only be confirmed once the deposit slip has been received by Forthright Events, a confirmation email will be sent to you.
Coaches or Team Managers who enter a player into the tournament are responsible for paying the entry fees for that player and the submission of the necessary documents.
Please ensure that the Organizer will be informed immediately when a player has to withdraw, together with the reason.
Last day for withdrawal without penalty is on November 20, 2016, Sunday midnight. Any withdrawal after November 20, 2016, for any reason whatsoever, renders the player concerned liable to an amount of P1,000 for the inconvenience caused by the withdrawal.
Clothing and advertising will be permitted in accordance with the competition regulations of PBA and BWF. Doubles partners in the QF, SF and Finals should wear the same uniform or at least the same color.
Doping test may be conducted randomly throughout the tournament.
